Hackers Can Take Control Of Your Android Device Very Easily; Click To Know

As we already know that Android is an open source operating system and that is the reason why it cannot be stated as the most secure operating system. Obviously, Apple iOS wins the race there because we have been hearing so many reports about different virus and hackers attack to the Android devices since its launch. Today, we have one more to tell you about, this time if you click on a link in an email which looks like sent from a trusted source, it could lead hackers to control your Android device easily.
It all started with a flaw in a component in the Android OS, which was spotted by a cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike. So, when you press that link, the virus will automatically take control of your phone and hackers will be able to monitor your phone calls and even the location of your phone. So, you can say that the hacker will have the complete control of your phone.
A Big Security Threat
Chief technology officer and co founder of CrowdStrike, Dmitri Alperovitch said that he has researched on this problem and tried to find out how to our mobile devices are becoming vulnerable to such attacks by hackers. He said that in this particular case, hackers have used the same MO which is being used in hacking desktop computers. First they try to find an unknown vulnerability in the OS and then take advantage by sending malware, which in this case gets activated when the victim clicks the link in the email. He also said that after modification and using other different exploits, hacker will be able to attack almost every smartphone device which is really a biggest security threat on those devices.

Current Targets: Android 2.2 & 2.3
According to the monitoring software used by CrowdStrike, they have found out that this flaw will attack all those phones which are running on Android 2.2 and at this time over 28% of the Android community is using that version. The firm also added that next week another version will be released which will be able to attack another 59% of Android users who are running Android 2.3.
